Job summary

RBC is seeking an experienced SAP APFA Platform Lead to design, configure, and rollout SAP APFA for the bank. You will manage ERP configuration squads and own the technical setup, including custom development, reports, workflows, and enhancements.

Based in Halifax, Canada, you will collaborate with global teams to implement multi-GAAP finance processes, maintain governance, and ensure scalable, secure SAP solutions that align with enterprise architecture.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of configuration and platform setup experience in large-scale Finance ERP implementations.
• Deep functional expertise in Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets for large global banks.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles (multi-GAAP, consolidations, reconciliations).
• Demonstrated experience managing SAP configuration squads and overseeing technical setup/custom development.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP reports, workflows, and platform customization. Experience working with integration, reporting, and data migration teams on SAP programs.

Responsibilities

• Own the rollout of SAP APFA modules.
• Translate business and accounting requirements into SAP configurations.
• Define and implement SAP workflows and approvals for end-to-end finance processes.
• Oversee technical setup, custom development, and platform enhancements.
• Mentor and coach SAP squads across multiple entities.
