Senior Sales Manager - Quebec and Eastern Canada

Position Summary

The Senior Sales manager is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth. This role involves leading a team of commercial sales professionals, establishing sales targets for each one, coaching and supporting their development. He acts as a trusted advisor and escalation point for key clients and partners. Senior Sales manager works closely with the marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and maximize sales opportunities.

Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market growth.
  2. Develops and manages his Sales team in the Province of Quebec.
  3. Identify new market opportunities and customer segments to expand the business.
  4. Create and manage sales forecasts, budgets, and performance metrics for his team, aligned with the business needs.
  5. Foster a collaborative and results-driven sales culture.
  6. Drive sales growth by developing and executing effective sales initiatives and campaigns in collaboration with the Central and West sales teams, as applicable.
  7. Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  8. Build and maintain strong relationships with selected key clients and partners.
  9. Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  10. Support and coach the sales team to resolve customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  11. Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure alignment and support National account sales efforts.
  12. Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to drive overall business success.
  13. Use market insights to drive sales strategies and maintain competitiveness.
  14. Oversee sales operations, including pipeline management, lead generation, and CRM usage for the team.
  15. Implement and optimize sales processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  16. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  3. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  4. Experience in the electronic security systems space is a must.

Working Conditions

  1. Combination of office work and working in the field visiting prospects/clients and his sales team across multiple offices.
  2. Willingness to travel (overnight travel) - 20%.
  3. Occasional customer meetings and networking events in the evenings.
