What that means day-to-day:
- Own Calgary’s go-to-market strategy with a clear focus on net new customer acquisition and expansion within enterprise accounts.
- Personally engage in executive-level sales, delivering tailored solution pitches to high-value clients across construction, energy, manufacturing, and other high-risk sectors.
- Navigate complex sales cycles involving legal, procurement, safety officers, and IT stakeholders—you’ll be the closer on enterprise-level deals.

We’re looking for a Senior Sales Director to lead and grow our Calgary office—someone who blends strategic thinking with hands-on execution, inspires with presence, and drives results through a purpose-driven lens. This isn’t your typical sales leadership role. It’s a rare opportunity for a player-coach to fuel regional expansion, elevate team performance, and serve as a cultural cornerstone for our fast-growing SaaS company.

What that means day-to-day:
Drive Strategic Revenue Growth- Own Calgary’s go-to-market strategy with a clear focus on net new customer acquisition and expansion within enterprise accounts.
- Personally engage in executive-level sales, delivering tailored solution pitches to high-value clients across construction, energy, manufacturing, and other high-risk sectors.
- Navigate complex sales cycles involving legal, procurement, safety officers, and IT stakeholders—you’ll be the closer on enterprise-level deals.
Lead a High-Performing Sales Team- Directly manage and mentor Business Development Managers (BDMs) and Client Experience professionals, guiding them through every stage of the sales funnel.
- Set clear goals, provide structured coaching, and champion a performance-driven culture.
- Conduct regular pipeline reviews and one-on-ones, ensuring accountability and growth.
Collaborate Across Customer Success & Product- Act as a strategic partner to our Customer Success team—helping ensure seamless onboarding, renewal success, and account growth without a direct reporting line.
- Provide voice-of-customer feedback to our Product and Development teams, helping shape our roadmap based on market demand and regulatory trends.
Be Calgary’s Cultural and Commercial Anchor- Represent our brand locally: in boardrooms, on stages, and at community events.
- Act as the cultural glue across departments—sales, success, product, and marketing—keeping the office aligned, energized, and focused on shared outcomes.
- Lead local hiring efforts and champion DEI practices to ensure a healthy, thriving team environment.
Stay Ahead of Industry Trends- Keep a sharp pulse on emerging health and safety regulations, industry shifts, and competitive landscape.
- Represent our company at relevant industry trade shows, compliance summits, and regional events to strengthen our presence and insights.
What you’ll need to be successful:
- 10+ years of B2B sales experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership capacity, ideally within SaaS, enterprise services, or H&S-related tech.
- Demonstrated success managing outside sales teams and closing multi-stakeholder, high-value deals.
- A strong hunter mindset backed by executive polish—you can win trust from field safety managers and C-level buyers alike.
- Experience selling into regulated industries such as construction, oil & gas, mining, or logistics is a major asset.
- Deep understanding of solution selling, consultative sales methodologies, and CRM-driven reporting (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
- Natural leadership presence—you motivate, inspire, and build strong, accountable teams.
- Based in Calgary or willing to be a visible, in-office leader multiple days per week.
