NATIONAL DIRECTOR, A&D SALES AND STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Calgary Branch in Alberta. Open to candidates in Vancouver, Edmonton, and Winnipeg. Travel is an essential component of the position.
Work Type: In-person. Our Client's team enjoys spending time with each other and believe curiosity and creativity is more contagious in person.
Compensation: Up to $140,000 base salary, with total compensation potential of $180,000+, uncapped including bonuses and profit-sharing.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate is a visionary and seasoned sales leader with 10+ years of experience in the A&D or construction industry, backed by a relevant degree (MBA preferred). They are passionate about the A&D space and looking to make a meaningful impact in a growing organization, and be part of the next chapter of Ames Tile & Stone’s legacy. They excel in driving growth strategies, market expansion, and key account management while leveraging financial acumen and deep industry knowledge. A people-centric leader with high emotional intelligence plus big picture and critical thinking skills, they navigate change, foster collaboration, and build strong relationships. Tech-savvy and data-driven, they utilize CRM systems and digital tools to enhance performance. Agile and adaptable, they thrive in complex sales environments and are willing to travel up to 50% for market engagement and team leadership.
About The Role
Lead and develop a high-performing A&D team by hiring, mentoring, and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning. Drive strategic business development by executing a national A&D strategy, expanding into the Ontario market, and aligning sales with marketing and product teams. Strengthen market presence through industry partnerships, regional collaboration, and educational initiatives. Optimize sales performance with data-driven strategies, CRM adoption, and KPI monitoring to maximize revenue and operational efficiency. Champion Ames’ digital transformation for seamless UX and workflow improvements.
