Job Overview:
Responsible for working cross-functionally to deliver upon customer-specific strategies that align with Long-Term Plan (LTP) success by playing a key role in the execution of processes to make our systems and sales teams more efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with sales leadership to deliver sales analyst projects that enable the business to execute its highest-priority initiatives
- Forecasting - Analyze and monitor KPIs to assist the sales team achievement of timelines and accuracy
- Reporting- Running sales reports and or various data reports to bring insights to the leaders.
- Collaborate with marketing team(s) to meaningful presentations & analysis using Nielsen IQ and/or other available tools.
- Sales Funnels / Activity Trackers and Budget Support
- Develop and manage tools to effectively execute strategic priorities / corporate initiatives and champion within the organization
- Provide revenue outlook and insight as part of long-term plan and annual planning/budget processes
- Leverage data to conduct in-depth analyses across areas of the business (e.g. key customers/regions/product lines) to develop an understanding of key value drivers, identifying improvement areas and growth opportunities
- Develop relevant KPIs and performance tracking
- Act as the primary “in-house” sales org liaison with other departments across the company
- Serve as the connection across cross-functional teams (including Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and other internal groups, etc.), and facilitate collaboration toward achieving common goals and outcomes
- Lead/manage/update pricing & price list for various customers in ERP.
- Support the manager; sales operations, sales manager & leaders of the sales team with strategy and tactics around pricing and margin achievement of near- and Long-Term Plan (LTP) revenue goals
- Manage the goals relating to margin and mix for the sales team
- Evaluating plans across customers and products
- Support pricing management along with promotional deals/trade spends for all customers
- Provide data analysis (ROI), tracking and support for client pricing/promotion requests
- Win/loss evaluation for insights and early indicators for competitor, customer, and market moves
- Collaborate with the demand planning team to make the forecasting/budgeting a smooth and evolving process
- Streamline activities that will enable best-in-class customer engagement and increase selling time for our sales organization
- Activities related to customer vendor requirements including customer contract processing, price lists, sales presentations (sample and technical information requests) and other customer vendor requirements
- Continuously develop the team, provide required training and coaching, and build backup plans to ensure seamless execution of the sales processes
- Coach & mentor sales coordinators to be successful in their day-to-day job duties
The Recipe for Success:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Management, Finance, Marketing or Business Administration
- 5+ years in business management-related discipline (finance, marketing, commercial, sales) preferably in a corporate setting with a proven ability to achieve results
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and active insurance coverage
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable solutions and processes
- Ability to function effectively in a team environment and gain the cooperation of individuals across the organization
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of management
- Results-oriented with the ability to initiate and lead projects to completion
- Innovative thinker with a focus on continuous process improvement
- Excellent computer skills which include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
