Job summary

CanaDream in Mirabel, QC is seeking an experienced RV Technician to ensure the safety and peak performance of our guest and customer RV fleet. You will diagnose, repair, and test systems using diagnostic tools and hands-on expertise.

This permanent full-time role reports to the Service Manager and involves mentoring others, performing pre-delivery checks, and providing excellent guest service.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified RV Technician, Journeyman, or equivalent experience.
• Driver’s license with clean record.
• Propane certification to operate LP gas systems.
• Hands-on RV preventative maintenance experience across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and electronics troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to safety and PPE compliance.
• Customer-focused with service-oriented mindset.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair RV systems using standard testing equipment and manufacturer specs.
• Disassemble and replace parts, ensuring factory specifications are met.
• Provide leadership in the shop and mentor assistants.
• Conduct engine tests and road tests for proper function.
• Process warranty claims and coordinate repairs.
• Assist guests with on-road issues and safety concerns.
• Install RV accessories and ensure proper fit and operation.
• Complete work orders and timecards accurately.
