Source Code is seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer for roles in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. The position requires relocation and hands-on work diagnosing, repairing, and overhauling rotating equipment such as gas compressors, steam turbines, pumps, gearboxes, and valves.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with 10+ years of field experience, including mechanical design, troubleshooting, and repair of oil and gas rotating equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• At least 10+ years hands-on experience in mechanical field as described.
• Experience with rotating equipment design, troubleshooting and major repair of gas compressors, steam turbines, pumps and gearboxes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supports to repair and overhaul of rotating equipment, including dismantling, diagnosing, assembling, testing and reporting.
• Provide technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
• Support field installation, maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair and modify existing equipment; identify cost reductions and process improvements.
• Prepare design engineering packages of rotating equipment.
• Investigate shop repair returns to identify root causes and lessons learned.
