Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supports to repair and overhaul of rotating equipment, including dismantling, diagnosing, assembling, testing and reporting.
• Provide technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
• Support field installation, maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair and modify existing equipment; identify cost reductions and process improvements.

As a rotating equipment engineer, you will be performing hands on diagnoses, repairs and overhauls on various types of rotating equipment such as air instrument, steam turbines, gascompressors, gearboxes, single and multistage pumps and valves.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical supports to repair and overhaul of rotating equipment such as dismantling, diagnosing,assembling, testing and issue related technical reports.
• Provide technical consultation to Shops Operating Repair Units and Contractor Shops.
• Support field installation, maintenance and repair of rotating equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, modify existing equipment and Identify cost reductions & process improvements.
• Ability to prepare design engineering packages of rotating equipment.
• Preform technical investigation for shop repair return jobs to identify root cause of failure, corrective repairactions and lesson learned. Introduce the latest technology in repair methodology.
• Develop and revise departments technical procedures and standards.
• Provide coaching and knowledge sharing to junior engineers, quality inspectors and technicians.
• Provide technical input for purchasing specifications including technical proposal evaluation.
• Liaise with Department engineers, Consulting Services Department (CSD), other departmentsand manufacturers.
• Liaise with In-House Repair Units, Quality Assurance units, In-Kingdom Contractors and vendor &manufacture in developing, evaluating, and implementing shop repair work scopes.
• Participate in vendor and customer exchange meetings.
• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 10+ years hands on experience in Mechanical fieldas stipulated above under position description.
• Experience in the mechanical design, troubleshooting and major repair of oil and gas rotating equipmentsuch as gas compressors, steam turbine and pump and gearbox.
• Experience on rotating equipment with original equipment manufacturing facility or equivalent certifiedrepairing facility for steam turbines and gas compressors and diesel engines
