ParaMed in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario is seeking a Clinical Supervisor RN to oversee community-based nursing teams, ensure safe, ethical care, and support staff in delivering high-quality services.

You will lead huddles, mentor your team, manage incident investigations, and coordinate documentation with funders, while advancing professional development and patient outcomes. This is a full-time role requiring strong leadership, clinical judgment, and a commitment to accessible, compassionate home

Qualifications

• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario and unrestricted practice.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a practicing RN.
• Comprehensive patient health assessment skills.
• Understanding of community nursing practice.
• Proven experience leading and managing a team.
• Knowledge of clinical documentation standards.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and teaching skills.
• Commitment to professional development in clinical practice for home health care.
• Effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
• Ability to provide a current, clear Vulnerable Sector Screening (VSS).
• C.N.A. Certification as a Community Health Nurse (CCHN(C)) is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support RNs to ensure practices comply with legislated standards and company policies.
• Respond to and advise/resolve concerns from staff, patients/families, and other team members.
• Provide ongoing leadership through regular huddles, meetings and one-on-ones.
• Initiate patient safety incident investigations and ensure action plans are met.
• Collaborate with nursing team to support clinical documentation and funder reporting requirements.
• Engage patients in problem solving with health teaching and relationship-building.
• Engage staff through education, coaching, and mentoring.
• Keep up-to-date with practice changes affecting home health care.
