Reporting to the Vice President of Risk Management, you'll be an integral part of their team, contributing to the development and implementation of cutting-edge risk management strategies across North American operations and projects.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate in the strategic development and execution of risk management strategies across the enterprise.
  • Align risk management with business objectives and risk appetite.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, leveraging diverse data and industry insights.
  • Assess and quantify risks, considering financial, legal, and environmental implications.
  • Provide expert guidance on risk and insurance matters to internal stakeholders, primarily Operations and Corporate Services.
  • Coordinate with external service providers in insurance, finance, and legal domains.
  • Engage in negotiations with owners and third parties to effectively manage project financial risks.
  • Develop and implement innovative risk mitigation models and techniques, balancing effectiveness and cost-efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of risk awareness and knowledge sharing throughout the organization.

Qualifications :

  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a proven track record of delivering results.
  • A bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Economics, or Law.
  • Proven expertise in insurance and risk management principles and practices.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
