Job summary

Symbiotic Digital is seeking an experienced Senior Power BI Report Developer to support Toronto-based reporting initiatives. You will design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports and data models for executive and operational needs.

In this role you will connect sources, optimize data models, and work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective BI solutions, ensuring quality, performance, and timely deliverables for a 12-month engagement in Downtown Toronto.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Microsoft Power BI Developer or Report Developer.
• Extensive experience building Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.
• Experience with PowerQuery, DAX, M Language.
• Experience creating compelling report designs and visualizations.
• Experience with report performance tuning, measures, relationships, and visuals.
• Experience with Power BI datasets and refresh processes.
• Experience with DirectQuery and Import mode.
• Strong SQL Server experience and data modeling.
• Knowledge of PowerBI Service and Microsoft Power Platform.
• Experience gathering and documenting complex business requirements; stakeholder management.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Report Developer withstrong expertise in Microsoft Power BI, data modeling, reporting, and businessintelligence solutions.
