Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services Canada Inc. is seeking a Release Lead to design and oversee end-to-end deployment plans across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid models. You will coordinate releases, manage risks, and communicate updates to stakeholders to ensure reliable IT services.

In this role, you will drive best practices, align with DevOps initiatives, and collaborate with IT teams to deliver scalable, secure releases while reporting progress to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong Release Management and Deployment Management experience.
• Experience creating and managing enterprise release schedules and deployment plans.
• Expertise in risk, issue, dependency, and change management.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience with ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage end-to-end deployment plans, schedules, and release activities
• Plan, coordinate, and control the deployment and release management process
• Integrate release management practices into delivery processes to ensure reliable and repeatable IT services
• Provide recommendations to improve efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security
• Drive best practices and facilitate decision-making among stakeholders
• Establish processes for tracking, monitoring, and reporting release-related changes and updates
• Deliver accurate, comprehensive, and timely release communications and status reporting
• Manage stakeholder communications and clearly articulate risks and impacts
• Provide guidance to IT Support teams and contribute to remediation and collision avoidance strategies
• Identify control and communication gaps and recommend process improvements
• Prepare and present updates, accomplishments, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership
• Identify, manage, and elevate risks, issues, and dependencies throughout the release lifecycle
• Manage release-related activities using ServiceNow, JIRA, and Confluence
• Coordinate releases across teams operating in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models
• Support DevOps and Continuous Delivery initiatives across the organization
