This is a senior role that leverages your experience in financial analysis, credit, and client acquisition. Your solution-development skills, combined with innate salesmanship, portfolio management expertise, and client service skills, will set the stage for success.

What will you do?

  • Apply your past sales experience for prospecting and lead generation to new and existing clients.
  • Demonstrate portfolio management and risk mitigation through financial statement reviews, trend identification, risk monitoring, and credit restructuring assessments.
  • Provide an exceptional client experience by delivering superior business and financial advice.
  • Leverage RBC’s expertise by identifying referral opportunities and making appropriate introductions to RBC partners.
  • Collaborate with various teams to develop and execute a client contact strategy.
  • Promote digital enablement by advocating the RBC mobile application, educating, and guiding clients on its usage.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Minimum 3-5 years of commercial banking experience.
  • Proven track record in sales, business development, and client relationship management.
  • Credit skills including risk assessment, financial analysis, credit structuring / solutions, and deal presentation.
  • Experience with emerging communication and technology (web meetings, social media, Digital Banking, Mobile Applications).
  • Bilingual in English and French, to serve clients with needs in both languages.

Nice-to-have

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Deep knowledge of products and services based on industry specialization.
  • Skills in new client acquisition, including pitching, lead generation, cold calling, and asking for referrals.
  • University degree in commerce, business administration, or related field.
