Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field
• Strong programming, debugging, and problem-solving skills
• Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot in daily workflow
• Proficiency with JavaScript and TypeScript for client-side web development
• Hands-on experience with React and Redux frameworks
• Experience with Node and NPM
• Knowledge of web-based technologies and development constructs
• Interest in software architecture and design
• Experience with Git and GitHub for source control
• Ability to collaborate with software engineering and cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, test, and maintain high-quality, secure, and stable software
• Build and maintain web-based solutions for cross-platform development
• Participate in software design and code reviews
• Develop task estimates, evaluate risks, and identify dependencies for project planning
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and designers across Toronto and other locations
• Contribute to discussions around software architecture and design
• Support development of solutions delivering high-quality customer experiences
• Work with a collaborative engineering team to achieve goals
