Our client is seeking a UI Developer (React) to join their team, hybrid Toronto, 3 days per week.

Must Have

• Strong experience with React.js and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Hands‑on experience with React Hooks
• Practical experience with React Query for data fetching and caching
• Solid understanding of component lifecycle and rendering behavior
• Proven experience with frontend performance optimization
• Experience writing unit tests using tools such as Jest, React Testing Library, or similar
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design
• Familiarity with REST APIs and asynchronous programming
• Working knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Proficiency with Git and version control workflows
