This remote-first role emphasizes collaboration with global teams, agile processes, and code quality. You will mentor others and deliver high-impact projects across industries.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles.
• Deep experience with React Native and Expo.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• React for web surfaces (Vite, Apollo Client).
• Experience with native modules and platform bridges.
• Understanding AI-driven development: evaluating and improving AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication with client stakeholders on project status and recommendations.
• Develop client code that is efficient, performant, testable, scalable, secure, and high-quality.
• Participate in accurate planning and estimation using project methods and tools.

AI Senior Mobile Software Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate effective communication with client project stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
• Craft client code that is not just efficient but also performant, testable, scalable, secure, and of the highest quality.
• Actively participate in accurate planning and estimation efforts, utilizing project methods and tools.
• Proficiently gather requirements and organize/present developed features for clients.
• Execute complex activities within the current methodology and quality standards, showcasing success across diverse engagements.
• Promote client success across the team by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points, anticipate potential problems, and iterate on solutions that drive client success.
• Engage in agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and other governance activities.
• Actively participate in the Engineering Practice community, mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams and supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
• Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture, demonstrating autonomy and accountability in all stages from conceptualization to deployment.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience/expertise in the following areas specified below*:
• Expertise in applying Object-Oriented Programming principles (abstraction, encapsulation).
• React Native and Expo at depth
• TypeScript
• React for the web surfaces (Vite, Apollo client)
• Native module and platform-bridge familiarity
• From an AI perspective, We are looking for more than developers who have simply used Claude. Ideally, someone who has practical experience building or working with AI-driven frameworks, understand how to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs, and can effectively shape and evolve the underlying framework as the project matures. We need engineers who understand both the opportunities and limitations of AI-assisted development is especially important.
• Proficiency in the English language.

Additional Experience Desired:

• Mobile test automation, and experience testing across two cooperating apps
• Android and iOS build pipelines
• Bluetooth/BLE exposure
• Having worked on an app that talks to physical hardware
