Job summary

3Pillar Global, Inc. is seeking a senior Software Engineer on a contractor basis to join a remote-first, globally distributed team. You will craft scalable enterprise software using .NET, Azure, and Angular, mentor peers, and deliver high-quality code for diverse client engagements.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across teams, participate in agile ceremonies, and contribute to architecture decisions while upholding security and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Expertise in applying object-oriented programming principles (abstraction, encapsulation).
• Experience with .NET, Azure, Angular in enterprise contexts.
• Proven ability to build scalable, well-tested systems and mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication with client stakeholders regarding project status and recommendations.
• Craft client code that is efficient, testable, scalable, secure, and high quality.
• Participate in planning and estimation using project methods and tools.
• Gather requirements and organize/present features for clients.
• Drive delivery within defined architecture with autonomy across end-to-end phases.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to resolve user pain points and iterate on solutions.
• Engage in agile software development, including daily stand-ups and sprints.
• Mentor others through Communities of Practice and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate effective communication with client project stakeholdersregardingproject status and recommendations.

• Activelyparticipateinaccurateplanning and estimation efforts,utilizingproject methods and tools.
• Proficiently gather requirements and organize/present developed features for clients.
• Execute complex activities within the currentmethodologyand quality standards,showcasingsuccess across diverse engagements.
• Promote client success across the team by collaborating with engineers, designers, and managers to understand user pain points,anticipatepotential problems, anditerate onsolutions that drive client success.
• Engage in agile software development, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, team retrospectives, and other governance activities.
• Activelyparticipatein the Engineering Practice community, mentoring others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams and supporting the growth of technical capabilities.
• Independently drive project delivery within defined architecture,demonstratingautonomy and accountability in all stages from conceptualization to deployment.

• Experience in creating and implementing well-tested, scalable, and performant enterprise-level systems.

• Good understanding of SOLID principles.
• Familiarity with OWASP.
• Proficiencyin the English language.
