Job summary

CPP Investments is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to design, build, and implement test automation across value-add technology solutions. You will drive quality processes, audit readiness, and cross-functional collaboration to embed quality in the product lifecycle.

You will lead scalable automation initiatives using Python and Playwright, integrate with CI/CD, and mentor teams to improve testability and reliability across complex software.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or college diploma in related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science).
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong Python engineering capability, including reusable automation frameworks, utilities, and test infrastructure.
• Experience integrating automated validation into CI/CD pipelines and influencing teams to adopt quality practices.
• Experience with QE processes, automated/manual tests, test planning and scripting.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable automation solutions using Python and modern testing tools such as Playwright, with maintainable framework design.
• Establish and promote quality engineering standards and shift-left testing practices.
• Review code and automation approaches to improve test quality and coverage across the team.
• Monitor effectiveness of test automation and drive improvements through analysis at various stages.
• Define and execute test plans, identify defects, and ensure products meet quality standards.
