Senior QA Automation Engineer, Mobile & Web

Type : Contract

Onsite - 5 days a week

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our native iOS, Android, and web applications through meticulous testing and robust automation strategies.

Responsibilities and Duties :

• Lead in-sprint functional testing for scheduled releases and meticulously maintain our regression suite.
• Establish and manage end-to-end test execution cycles, implementing continuous testing practices using tools like Jenkins and SauceLabs.
• Develop comprehensive test plans, strategies, cycles, and test cases using the BDD Gherkin language.
• Collaborate closely with product and development teams to ensure all functional, regression, and sanity testing requirements are met.
• Analyze reports generated from automated script executions to accurately identify and report bugs.
• Manage the full defect lifecycle within Jira, from opening issues to their resolution, ensuring project deadlines are met.
• Create and maintain thorough documentation on Confluence.
• Communicate project status updates and discuss release plans effectively with your Manager.

Qualifications and Skills :

• 6+ years of dedicated software testing experience with native iOS and Android mobile applications.
• 3+ years of experience in functional testing of web applications.
• Strong grasp of various testing methodologies , including Functional, Regression, Sanity, Smoke, White box, and Black box testing.
• Proficient in working with Atlassian products such as Jira, Xray, and Confluence.
• Proven experience with Postman and API Testing .
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an Agile environment , collaborating closely with software development and product teams.
• Exceptional time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, flexible environment.
• Experienced in release cycle management within an Agile framework.
• A proven track record of working effectively both independently and as a collaborative team member.
