Job description

We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead the design, development, and execution of automated testing solutions for enterprise-grade digital applications.

This role involves overseeing test management, performance testing, and collaboration across cross-functional teams to ensure robust, defect-free software delivery.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in automation frameworks, cloud platforms, and testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee test management activities including traceability matrix and status reporting.
• Design, develop, and execute test automation frameworks and suites.
• Evaluate and maintain manual and automated test cases and procedures.
• Conduct performance testing using enterprise-level tools.
• Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Collaborate in project-wide reviews of requirements, architecture, and design documents.
• Act as a key contact for automation needs across teams.
• Manage and maintain physical, virtualized, and simulated test environments.
• Identify and resolve integration issues across application components.
• Review code coverage and conduct test reviews during each cycle.
• Manage defect lifecycle from identification to resolution.
• Customize automation frameworks based on client needs.
• Plan, design, and implement testing strategies and automation infrastructure for large-scale systems.

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in test automation using Selenium/Java/Cucumber/REST Assured or Selenium/.NET/Cucumber/REST Sharp.
• 5+ years of experience designing functional and end-to-end test cases.
• 4+ years of experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with messaging systems (AMQ, WMQ, Kafka), Couchbase, and GCPS.
• 3+ years of experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Behavior-Driven Design (BDD) and Cucumber or similar frameworks.
• 3+ years of experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, ReadyAPI-LoadUI).

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced skills in performance testing tools.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) pipeline setup.
• Hands-on experience in UI and API test automation.
• Deep knowledge of test plans, automation design, and iterative development.
• Experience in mobile and manual testing.
• Experience in leadership roles.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to tackle new challenges.
• Experience supporting cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
• Experience with accessibility and security testing.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Familiarity with Gen AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and their application in quality engineering.
