Join to apply for the Senior Quality Engineer role at RBC.

Job Summary
As a Senior QE within Retail Credit and Payment Systems, you will work within Agile and Iterative Labs, managing QE resources and implementing QE best practices, including Test Automation. Your involvement spans all software development phases, such as requirements analysis, work estimations, design analysis, resource planning, automated test coverage, and integration with DevOps pipelines for Continuous Integration and no-touch deployments.

Job Description
What will you do?

• Plan and execute QE tasks within assigned projects.
• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive test coverage, including automation.
• Lead the design and implementation of Test Automation solutions.
• Adopt and integrate available Automation tools and suites.
• Integrate Test Automation into DevOps pipelines for successful production delivery.
• Document and maintain automation implementations.
• Perform other tasks as directed by the manager.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Degree/diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related, with 6+ years in Quality Engineering/Assurance and 2+ years in a Lead role.
• Hands-on experience in test case design and automation.
• Experience in level-based testing (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Background in Test Automation frameworks design and implementation.
• Technologies: SOAP UI/APIs, Cucumber, GitHub Actions, Java, Groovy, Wiremock, SQL, JIRA, Confluence, qTest.

Nice-to-have

• Knowledge of banking products, particularly credit.
• Experience with Java/JavaScript.
• Leadership and mentoring experience.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot.
