Job description

Job Title: Testing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Testing Specialist to join our dynamic team and contribute to a large-scale defence project. As a Testing Specialist, you will be responsible for the full testing life-cycle for the development of specialized military software.

Requirements:

• Government of Canada issued SECRET level clearance.
• Establish and maintain source and object code libraries for a multi-platform, multi-operating system environment.
• Develop and implement testing procedures for unit, integration, and regression testing, with an emphasis on automation.
• Program and utilize automated software testing tools, network analysis, and similar test equipment.
• Monitor, assemble, improve, and manipulate focus area products to ensure defect-free quality.
• Create test scenarios and scripts using structured testing techniques.
• Provide Verification & Validation (V&V) services on documentation delivered by OEMs.
• Review test plans, procedures, and reports with clients.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute various levels of testing (CI, System, System of Systems).
• Offer technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to support senior management decision-making.
• Lead multidisciplinary testing teams in developing IT tactical systems.
• Conduct reviews to monitor progress and address potential issues.

Qualifications:

• At least 8 years of testing experience.
• Proof of degree or diploma (minimum 2 years) from a recognized college or university in sciences or engineering.
• Government of Canada issued SECRET level clearance.
