POSITION SUMMARY

Enterprise Systems is hiring a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for our Business Application Quality team. The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for executing quality assurance testing, ensuring that system change delivery meets product requirements and quality standards. This role will also be responsible for developing and maintaining automated testing strategies to drive continuous improvement and efficiency of business system testing.

This is an opportunity to build partnerships across all departments at HomeEquity Bank by acting as a subject matter expert in how to ensure the bank's core systems for lead management, mortgage origination and mortgage servicing exceed reliability, performance, and compliance standards.

MAJOR ELEMENTS OF THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to understand the expected outcomes and acceptance criteria of system change requests.
• Collaborate within the delivery team to understand the technical solution of system change requests.
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans to cover system changes and their role in business processes.
• Participate in peer reviews of other quality assurance analysts to provide guidance and assistance in developing test plans and recommend testing strategies.
• Execute quality assurance testing during delivery sprints based on sprint priorities.
• Ensure execution of test plans is accurately captured to enable timely reporting on coverage, bugs, and completion status within a delivery sprint.
• Ensure bugs are accurately classified and replication steps are documented to ensure resolution of issues found during delivery.
• Co-ordinate post-implementation testing and verification with the Business Application Support Team to confirm successful implementation of system changes.
• Review delivery sprint and release plans and recommend resource allocation to ensure full testing coverage of all changes.
• Develop automated testing to cover regression, recurring and complex test scenarios.
• Participate in planning and enhancing of automated test strategies.
• Participate in incident resolution analysis and priority testing of critical issues.
• Assist the Manager, Business Application Quality by consolidating metrics on test coverage and defects generated from delivery.
• Assist in developing, documenting, and maintaining quality assurance processes, procedures, and standards for the Business Application Quality team.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in a technology or business support field
• Expertise in test planning, test design, and functional test execution
• Experience developing testing frameworks and strategies in agile delivery
• Experience with exploratory, integration, E2E, performance and smoke testing
• Experience developing and executing automated testing
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to understand and test technology changes
• Experience working with Selenium, Postman, SQL Server, and Salesforce would be considered an asset
• Standard office environment
