Quality Assurance

What we do

The QA team owns testing, risk management, and quality evaluation across Epic's products. We work closely with developers and production to ensure the best user experience.

What you'll do

You will support Fortnite as part of the Tech team. QA Programmers plan and execute tests on technical systems, create test plans, perform white box testing, develop scripts and automation tests, and verify system inner workings. You will split your time between creating test plans, deep white box testing, analyzing processes for automation, and reviewing manual tests for automation opportunities.

In this role, you will

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define acceptance criteria, identify risks, and plan testing coverage
• Create automated test cases and debug issues across clients and hardware
• Develop base-level test plans for multiple features in a dynamic environment
• Analyze defect load and recommend testing priorities
• Track and analyze game client performance data to inform quality improvements
• Monitor automation and build failures, triage issues, and communicate statuses

What we're looking for

• 3+ years in Quality Assurance
• 1+ years programming experience with C++, Java, C#, or automation with Python
• Strong collaboration skills with technical teams
• Ability to assess scope and help manage project timelines
• Experience testing software or games in fast-paced environments
• Technical understanding of web, mobile, XR, or game technologies, including automation and performance testing

Pay transparency

The annual base pay range for BC residents is $109,915—$161,208 CAD, based on skills and experience. Compensation includes benefits and incentive programs.
