Job summary

TripArc is hiring a Senior QA Analyst in a hybrid role, requiring at least 5+ years of QA with strong Playwright and TypeScript skills. You will design and maintain automation, mentor QA Analysts, and contribute to AI-assisted testing workflows using Claude.

The position is based in Downtown Toronto with a minimum of two days in the office. You will collaborate across engineers, product owners, and QA leadership to ensure comprehensive test coverage, leverage Playwright for UI/API automation,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Software Quality Assurance with ownership of test automation.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript (required).
• Experience designing and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks.
• Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience testing REST APIs with Postman and SQL basics.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and Agile tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test suites with Playwright/TS.
• Own automation architecture including page objects and utilities.
• Expand automation coverage across UI, API, regression, and E2E tests.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for fast feedback.
• Troubleshoot failures; differentiate product vs. automation issues.
• Mentor QA Analysts and promote testing best practices.
• Collaborate with Developers, PO, and QA Manager on quality strategy.
• Perform manual/exploratory testing for complex scenarios.
