Job summary

Tie is seeking a Senior General QA Engineer to own product quality end-to-end. The role combines manual testing, automation, and release validation with close collaboration across engineering and product teams.

You’ll leverage AI tools and automation where it adds value while also performing hands-on testing. Responsibilities include test design, cross-browser validation, API testing with Postman, and maintaining test repositories.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manual testing experience for web applications.
• 2+ years of automation testing experience (Playwright or Cypress must have JS/TS).
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
• Familiarity with bug tracking and test case management tools (QASE, Testomat, TestRail, etc.).
• Experience testing REST APIs (basic level).
• Experience with data verifications and cross-browser testing.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, and design documents to create test cases and checklists.
• Perform functional, integration, UI/UX, and regression testing across web, data, and API layers.
• Test on multiple browsers, devices, and screen resolutions for cross-platform consistency.
• Execute manual test cases and report issues with clear reproduction steps and severity.
• Verify fixes and perform retesting and smoke testing.
• Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure test coverage and align QA efforts with release goals.
