Ideal candidates have 5+ years in CRE property accounting, strong CPA credentials, and expert knowledge of Yardi and Excel. This role emphasizes collaboration with operations, leasing, and construction teams, with a focus on timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial real estate property accounting or a related field.
• Professional CPA designation is a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work professionally under pressure.
• Strong autonomy, initiative, and teamwork skills.
• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities.
• Strong Excel, Word and Outlook knowledge.
• Experience with real estate accounting systems, especially Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
• Produce financial reports and analyses for properties or portfolios.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare working papers for audits.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and reforecasting.
• Ensure GST/QST reconciliation and remittance.
• Collaborate with operations, leasing, and construction teams.
• Maintain accurate financial information and deadlines.
