Job summary

On Side is seeking a Project Supervisor to lead field teams and collaborate with Project Managers on construction/restoration projects in Canada. The role emphasizes strong leadership, budget awareness, and timely delivery across multiple sites.

Ideal candidates have 10–15 years in construction/restoration and 2–3 years in a supervisory capacity, with excellent communication and organizational skills. This position may involve after-hours on-call rotations and on-site leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of construction or restoration experience.
• 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
• Leadership abilities and teamwork.
• Experience in the restoration industry (big plus).
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of building materials and scheduling timelines.
• Commercial and residential renovation/restoration experience.
• Superior communication with homeowners, Project Managers, Stakeholders and employees.
• Finish carpentry experience and ability to use tools.
• Ability to work within a budget.
• Strong work ethic and ability to bring this out in others.
• Tech savvy, able to document and upload progress.
• Strong organizational skills and reliability.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean criminal record (we do check).

Responsibilities

• Dealing with permits and city representatives on commercial and residential projects.
• Collaborating with Project Managers to organize and execute scope of work.
• Communicating with Project Managers, direct reports, and homeowners.
• Working within a budget to get a job done.
• Leadership and coaching field staff.
• Health and safety on jobsites.
• Leading large teams on site (sometimes multiple sites) including in-house staff, sub-trades while collaborating with other tradespeople, vendors, clients, and environmental consultants to achieve outcomes.
• Responsibility for team schedule.
• Monitor and maintain schedules, communicating with stakeholders regularly to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Documentation of site visits and job progress.
• Site safety inspections.
• Working on the tools as required.
