Job summary

Lycopodium Limited is seeking a Lead Project Planner to join our Projects team in Canada. You will establish and maintain the project schedule to support timely, accurate reporting of activities across EP/EPCM/EPC projects.

You will report to the Project Controls and Planning Manager and collaborate with client and internal teams. You will develop WBS, master schedules, and multi-level planning for engineering, procurement, and construction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent is preferred.
• A minimum of 8 years experience in project-related scheduling and planning for Minerals Processing.
• Must be experienced with Primavera P6 to an advanced level.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with all stakeholders, including clients, vendors and co-workers.
• High attention to detail and exceptional knowledge of Project Planning and Management.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager and the team to prepare the Project Schedules and provide up-to-date data to assist with the management of project activities to the highest quality.
• Develop and maintain project planning procedures, work practices and protocols for efficient work and consistency.
• Provide specialist advice in designated areas of expertise.
• Work collaboratively with personnel across all business units.
• Prepare and effectuate overall project planning for EP/EPCM/EPC projects.
• Define Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and generate master schedule baseline for engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
• Develop different levels of schedules for the project and support business development during the proposal phase.
• Create integrated EPC/client schedules with internal and external clients.
