Our client is looking for a Senior Project Manager with Cyber Security experience to lead regulatory compliance for digital assets

This role requires you to be onsite 3 days / week at Calgary or Edmonton office

Must Haves :

  • 7+ years' experience as a Project Manager , leading enterprise Security Compliance projects
  • Must have thorough Cyber Security understanding
  • Familiarity with standards like NIST, ISO, GDPR, HIPAA.
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira, Trello).

Responsibilities :

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource requirements.
  • Identify and assess cybersecurity risks and dependencies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including IT, security analysts, compliance officers, and vendors.
  • Assign tasks, monitor progress, and ensure accountability.
  • Facilitate regular team meetings and status updates.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide clear and timely updates on project status, risks, and issues.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure alignment with business goals.
  • Develop and manage project budgets.
  • Ensure optimal allocation of resources and manage vendor contracts.
  • Ensure projects align with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
  • Coordinate audits, assessments, and compliance documentation.
  • Implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and security requirements.
  • Oversee testing, validation, and deployment of cybersecurity solutions.
  • Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions
