Job summary

Procom is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Leader - Vendor Management for a 6-month, onsite role at the client’s North York, Ontario office. You will oversee governance, communications, and ensure deliverables align with business requirements, emphasizing cost-effectiveness and PM methodologies.

You will manage large-scale data migration and vendor activities, lead steering committees, monitor budgets, and report to senior executives. Immediate start with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Vendor management experience is required.
• Experience leading, managing RFbs (Requests for Bid).
• Strong communication skills for executive interactions.
• Strong documentation experience.
• Ability to promote I&IT project management best practices.
• Experience developing and managing project schedules and deliverables.
• Ability to monitor and forecast project costs.

Responsibilities

• Provides project management on large-scale, complex, high-profile projects for OPS I&IT initiatives.
• Ensures project deliverables meet client requirements on time, scope, and budget.
• Leads organizational development, strategy development, and business planning.
• Develops and manages project schedules, deliverables, and scope.
• Coordinates and monitors project processes, developing and communicating guidelines and procedures.
• Manages large project budgets and ensures fiscal control and accountability.
• Identifies potential risk events and issues, recommending mitigation strategies.
• Establishes and participates in steering committee and stakeholder forums.
• Provides project, program, and/or portfolio reporting to senior executive levels.
