The mandate of the Rail Construction Program is to transform, develop, grow, and sustain Ottawa’s Light Rail Transit Systems as a component of the City of Ottawa’s overall transportation and mobility strategy. The Senior Project Manager will help to manage the City of Ottawa’s oversight of the Stage 2 Light Rail Transit (LRT) multimillion-dollar P3 project.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of rail systems related equipment and infrastructure as well as Safety and Security related projects for Confederation Line East and West and the Trillium Line South extensions.
Completion of 4-year university degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or Structural Engineering, or Architecture, from a recognized university.
Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in the discipline of planning, design and construction of projects, including a minimum of 5 years construction project management experience.
Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO) OR Licensed Architect with Ontario Association of Architects (OAA) is desirable.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset.
LEED AP (Accredited Professional) with Green Building Certification Inc. (GBCI) is an asset.
