Job summary

CIRO is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead market regulation technology programs that support real-time trade surveillance across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and digital assets. You will drive discovery, governance, and delivery with cross-functional teams and vendors.

Ideal candidates bring 5–10 years in technology initiatives within capital markets or regulatory settings, plus PMP certification and a strong data-focused mindset. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years leading complex technology initiatives in capital markets or regulatory settings.
• Understanding of market structure, trade lifecycle and regulatory surveillance across asset classes.
• Led 2–3 large cross-functional projects with tech and business overlap.
• Experience with data migration, onboarding, mapping and validation.
• Hands-on project work with market data feeds and related protocols (MRF, FIX, SAIL).
• PMI/ PMP certification and a relevant post-secondary degree.

Responsibilities

• Lead medium to large-scale projects aligned with business goals and ePMO standards.
• Plan timelines, manage scope, and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Prepare artifacts: charters, project plans, RAID logs, budgets, etc.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and internal teams nationally.
• Drive discovery activities and cross-functional collaboration.
