We are looking for a Senior Project Manager on behalf of the WFS CAN Programme and in support of our OroraTech Canadian Office for their location in Cambridge, Ontario. This is a pivotal role within the Project Management Office, where the Project Manager will report directly to the Head of the PMO.
Project Management of Space projects
Lead the Munich based project team inline with the project requirements and project management processes
Interface with customers in Canada/North America ensuring their needs and expectations are met
Maintain regular communication with the Project Management Office in Munich
Establish project priorities and ensure resource allocation aligns with the projects needs to comply with schedule and budget constraints
Coordination with management and external suppliers
Preparation and coordination of meetings, reviews and workshops.
Travel to and work in Montreal and Munich.
University degree in Aerospace, Systems Engineering, Mechanical or related fields
5+ years experience in Project Management of space missions/projects
Experience in the Space industry and management of projects with government agencies and institutions (ESA, CSA, NSA) is a plus
Knowledge of project economics and risk management
Personal attitude in team building, coordination and conflict resolution
Knowledge of space systems, standards (tailoring for New Space projects) and practices
Understanding of the ground segment chain is an asset
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Willingness to travel and work from our headquarters in Munich
Excellent English language skills, French is a plus.
