This position requires extensive travel to projects across the US, potentially up to 100%. Applicants must be willing to travel extensively for this role.

Role Summary

The Senior Aptitude Project Manager will lead the Aptitude program across all project phases, providing strategic direction, operational excellence, financial management, team leadership, and stakeholder relationship management to meet or exceed contractual and financial targets, aligned with JE Dunn's strategy, vision, and values.

Key Role Responsibilities - Core
  • Support all aspects of the company's safety culture and promote an injury-free environment.
  • Coordinate technology design and construction efforts to meet standards.
  • Provide technical expertise in design assist, installation, and network integration.
  • Create scope of work and responsibility matrices for projects.
  • Perform quantity takeoffs and obtain vendor and trade partner pricing for budgets and proposals.
  • Manage project budgets, costs, and projections.
  • Develop and enforce Aptitude processes and standards.
  • Lead and motivate team members in line with JE Dunn's values.
  • Support deployment of Aptitude strategies to meet project goals.
  • Participate in communication programs to market and deliver technology services.
  • Manage budgets, schedules, staffing, billing, and collections.
  • Develop project plans with tasks, resources, and timelines.
  • Track progress and report on milestones.
  • Communicate and resolve issues promptly.
  • Evaluate project performance post-completion.
  • Properly manage and archive project documents.
Additional Responsibilities

Maintain professional knowledge, engage with civic organizations, manage client relationships, oversee strategic direction, and lead staffing and growth initiatives.

Education & Experience

  • 8+ years project management experience (required).
Working Environment
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours.
  • Exposure to extreme conditions possible.
