Job summary

Urbantech is a GTA-based boutique Civil Engineering consultancy seeking a Project Manager – Land Development for its Oakville or Markham offices. You will own projects from concept through approvals and construction, guiding a multidisciplinary team and coordinating with municipalities and clients.

You will review grading, drainage, and civil designs, contribute to technical work using AutoCAD Civil 3D, and mentor junior staff while ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of relevant civil engineering/land development experience with demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules and staff.
• Eng. or C.E.T. designation is required.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering design and construction practices in the GTA.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and the ability to review and contribute to detailed civil engineering designs.

Responsibilities

• Lead land development projects from concept through municipal approvals and construction.
• Maintain regular client communication and provide status, schedules, budgets, and items outstanding.
• Coordinate project resources including Engineers, Designers, Technologists and external consultants.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, invoicing, and financial performance.
• Review and direct grading, drainage, servicing, stormwater management, and other civil designs.
