We seek a Senior Project Manager to lead Indigenous projects, fostering relationships and delivering meaningful change in areas such as housing, water, education, and infrastructure, while promoting reconciliation and environmental stewardship.

Your Role

As a Senior Project Manager, Indigenous Projects, you will lead project teams, manage client relationships, and oversee project delivery, ensuring alignment with community and cultural values. This leadership role offers growth opportunities within our Northern Canada Business unit, empowering teams across the province.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and empower multiple project teams, managing performance and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  2. Implement training and tools to support service delivery.
  3. Build your professional brand through expertise and passion.
  4. Manage accounts and foster a culture of quality.
  5. Demonstrate financial and business acumen, aiming for a 15% annual growth in sales.
  6. Contribute to proposal development and technical inputs.
  7. Address and escalate issues related to project scope, budget, or resources.
  8. Ensure client satisfaction with a client-centric approach, navigating contractual and technical challenges.
  9. Respect local Indigenous knowledge, customs, and culture.
  10. Work with diverse client groups, including Indigenous Nations, government bodies, and community organizations.
  11. Support Indigenous economic development and emergency planning efforts.
  12. Lead complex programs and capital projects, maintaining strong client relationships and pursuing new opportunities.
Qualifications
  1. Minimum 5 years of experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders.
  2. Experience in business development, client engagement, and mentoring.
  3. Degree or diploma in relevant fields such as business, engineering, or finance.
  4. Knowledge of construction methodologies, project management, and legislation.
  5. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
  6. Proven ability to influence and resolve issues effectively.
  7. Relationship-building skills with clients and industry professionals.
  8. Professional credentials like PMP, P.Eng., or similar are assets.
  9. Experience working respectfully in cross-cultural settings with Indigenous communities is preferred.

Approximate salary range: $100,000 - $135,000 CAD. We encourage applicants who meet most qualifications to apply, embracing diversity and inclusion.
