The role requires 7+ years in IT within Retail, Print, or B2B environments, PMP certification, and strong executive communication skills to present to steering committees.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent required.
• PMP certification is required.
• 7+ years of IT experience.
• Experience in Retail, Print or B2B environments.
• Executive-level communication with senior leadership audiences.
• Experience delivering customer-facing systems and enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for one or more complex, high-impact projects, utilizing project lifecycle methodologies.
• Balance stakeholder expectations regarding scope, schedule, budget, and risk.
• Ensure project objectives align with Staples’ IT strategy.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans.
• Lead cross-functional teams including IT, business and partners.
• Identify and coordinate project resources with clear roles and accountability.
• Mentor project team members for growth and development.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and changes to stakeholders.
• Oversee project financials, including cost estimates, forecasts, and spend vs. budget.
