Job summary

Triveni IT is seeking a technically seasoned Project Manager to lead large, multi-stream engagements in a professional services setting in Canada. You will drive complex projects from discovery through delivery, coordinating cross-functional teams and external customers.

The role requires external customer-facing experience, PMP/CAPM preferred, strong financial acumen, and excellent communication. You will own risk, scope, and profitability and report to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager.
• Experience in Professional Services or Managed Services.
• Led external customer facing projects.
• Experience supporting Global Financial customers.
• Experience in Networking, Storage, Virtualization, Cloud, Security or UC PM.
• PMP and/or CAPM certification desired.
• Strong financial reporting skills, preferably in Clarity.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven risk management and stakeholder analysis abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet timelines.
• Strong documentation and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day project operations across multiple work streams (Federal).
• Create in-depth WBS with interdependencies and a defined critical path.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple moving parts.
• Learn Empower platform and track project financials.
• Provide excellent customer service with strong written and verbal communication.
• Develop and execute an efficient internal/external communication strategy.
• Monitor and report project progress to stakeholders.
• Build relationships with customers and stakeholders.
• Create and maintain resource plans for portfolio projects.
• Utilize PM tools and techniques to improve execution.
• Implement engagement reviews and QA procedures.
• Ensure profitable and successful execution against goals.
• Proactively manage scope changes.
• Execute risk management plans.
• Analyze profitability, revenue, margins, and utilization.
• Understand financial components to keep projects on budget.
• Ensure quality and timely delivery of deliverables.
