• Coordinate permits, approvals, and site logistics with the contractor.
• Apply change control procedures and escalate decisions as needed.
• Coordinate reviews, inspections and approvals across design, health and safety, quality, environment and security.
• Contribute to procurement planning and support contract management.

Overview

Come join us in reshaping the future with AtkinsRéalis. AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Senior Project Manager Consultant with proven experience supporting large scale airport or equivalent major infrastructure programs.

The Senior Project Manager Consultant will support a transformative airport infrastructure project and will be part of a high-performing project team based in the west end of Toronto.

Your role

• Oversee the delivery of the works in line with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk requirements.
• Provides specialist project management expertise to support program objectives.
• Work collaboratively alongside the other Senior Project Managers and Construction Managers to support the Program Lead.
• Support the Program Lead to manage the performance of the contractor and to escalates critical decisions when required.
• Interface with various internal and external stakeholders to facilitate consultations and secure necessary approvals.
• Work closely with the contractor to obtain required permits, approvals, and consents as well as manage site logistics.
• Coordinates the effective application of change control procedures and escalates decisions as required.
• Partner collaboratively with the wider program team to coordinate reviews, inspections, and approvals incl. design, health and safety, quality, environmental and security domains.
• Contribute to procurement planning and support contract management in collaboration with the wider team.

About you

• Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project/program management
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience within international airport projects or equivalent large scale infrastructure programs.
• Demonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver complex projects and programs.
• Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholder relationships and providing reporting to enable effective decision making.
• Demonstrated expertise in project management and/or applicable technical areas to deliver complex projects.
• Strong technical capability in all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance preferably large program/projects.
• Good stakeholder engagement and communication skills including the ability to facilitate meetings/workshops with groups of stakeholders.
• Recognized degree and professional designation in a relevant field considered an asset.
