AtkinsRéalis Canada Inc. is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Airfield based in Toronto to lead complex airport infrastructure programs.

You will coordinate with Program Leads, manage contractor performance, and align stakeholder consultations and approvals to drive timely decisions and site logistics. The role requires a demonstrated track record in large-scale projects, strong leadership, and the ability to navigate design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance phases.

Qualifications

Job Description Overview

AtkinsRéalis is hiring a Senior Project Manager – Airfield with proven experience supporting large scale airport or equivalent major infrastructure programs. The Senior Project Manager – Airfield will support a transformative airport infrastructure project and will be part of a high-performing project team based in the west end of Toronto.

Your role

Provides specialist project management expertise. Works collaboratively alongside other Senior Project Managers and Construction Managers to support the Program Lead. Works with the Program Lead to manage contractor performance and accelerate necessary decisions. Interfaces with various internal and external stakeholder groups to align required consultations and approvals. Works with the contractor to coordinate required permits, approvals, consents, and site logistics. Oversees the delivery of works in line with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and risk requirements. Coordinates the effective application of change control procedures and escalates decisions as required. Works collaboratively with the wider program team to coordinate reviews, inspections, and approvals, including design, health and safety, quality, environmental, and security requirements. Works collaboratively with the wider team to coordinate procurement and contract management activities. Coaches, mentors, and supports the career development of staff.

About you

Recognized degree and professional designation in a relevant field (Civil or Electrical Engineering) is considered an asset. Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in project/program management. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in large international airport projects or equivalent major infrastructure programs. Demonstrated experience in managing teams to deliver complex projects and programs. Demonstrable experience in managing stakeholder relationships and providing reporting to enable effective decision-making. Demonstrated expertise in project management and/or applicable technical areas to deliver complex projects. Strong technical capability across all project phases, including design, planning, construction, operations, and maintenance, preferably on large programs/projects. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including the ability to facilitate meetings and workshops with groups of stakeholders.

Expected compensation

Expected compensation for this role is between Pay Range $140,000 - $190,000 annually. Base salaries are determined according to several parameters like skills, experience, and potential impact on the role. Internal and external competitiveness are also taken into account in our offers.
