Qualifications

• Community college diploma in architectural technology, construction technology, engineering technology.
• 5+ years of project management work experience.
• University degree in Architecture or Engineering preferred.
• Project management – delivering projects on-time, on-budget, with compliance.
• Project budget management – budgeting experience.
• Project risk mitigation and management – risk handling experience.
• Strong communication, influence, negotiation skills.
• Relationship building with clients.
• Client management – managing client relationships and expectations.
• Vendor management – managing vendor performance.
• Quality mindset and continuous improvement.
• Proficiency with MS Office and quick learning of new apps.
• High sense of urgency and clear reporting to executives.
• Ability to create project schedules independently.
• Ability to create class D estimates without consultant support.
• Strong multitasking across multiple projects.
• Understanding of the construction industry.
• Ability to differentiate reporting to executives and team members.
• Create business cases for funding with precise information for approvals.

Responsibilities

• Plans and oversees end-to-end delivery of assigned projects.
• Defines project scope, deliverables and requirements with stakeholders.
• Develops and implements project plans.
• Determines resource and budget requirements and timelines.
• Identifies risks and develops mitigation and contingency plans.
• Monitors delivery against timelines and ensures timely completion.
• Oversees project team members and task progress.
• Communicates status to relevant parties.
• Ensures regulatory, environmental, health and safety compliance.
• Develops and maintains client relationships and satisfaction.
• Provides supervision to project administration and coordination roles.
