Industra is a multi-disciplined, self-perform General Contractor actively seeking individuals who wish to advance within our organization and feel that their contributions directly influence the growth and direction of the company.

We are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. This individual should have a minimum of 8 years of experience and be well-versed in heavy civil and structural construction disciplines. Experience with structures (buildings) and process mechanical work will be considered an asset. Only experienced construction professionals will be considered for this position.

Headquartered in Surrey, BC (Cloverdale area).

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Develops a cost-effective plan and schedule for project completion, utilizing resources efficiently.
2. Minimizes exposure and risk by implementing safety standards and quality assurance controls.
3. Coordinates work of subcontractors across various phases of multiple projects.
4. Oversees performance of all trade contractors and reviews engineering drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
5. Administers construction contracts and secures necessary permits and licenses.
6. Supervises assistant managers and superintendents, reviews reports, and addresses safety or quality issues.
7. Tracks and controls project schedule and costs to ensure timely and within-budget completion.
8. Reports project progress and modifications to owners, engineers, and portfolio managers. Conducts project meetings.
9. Manages daily operations and tactical aspects of multiple construction projects.
10. Handles client interactions and manages expectations, directly or through supervision.
11. Forecasts revenue, profitability, and project costs accurately.
12. Achieves or exceeds revenue goals for projects.
13. Prepares and issues regular internal and external project reports using company software (Viewpoint).
14. Identifies scope changes proactively and implements appropriate measures.
15. Projects scope and revenue changes.
16. Administers Submittal Review process between subcontractors/suppliers and the owner or their representative.
17. Reviews field inspection reports from consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
18. Maintains Contract Execution Tracking Log.
19. Informs management of project status and issues affecting client relations.
20. Travel may be required for out-of-town projects.
