Job description

Wood is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate the execution of various projects in our Oil, Gas and New Energies Canada Business, with a core focus on LNG Sustaining Capital programs in the Kitimat, British Columbia area!

The Projects may include both Green and Brownfield work – and can include Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication, and Construction support project types; across the full life cycle project stages; Studies, DBM, FEED, Detailed Design/Execution.

This role has overall responsibility for:

Business Growth:

Working with Wood Business Development to continue to grow existing Client relationships, seek new opportunities to offer the full depth of Wood’s services, and be the Client-facing representative of Wood Canada to various clients in the region.

Project Delivery:

Overseeing the development of budgets, schedules and reports as well as for the management and coordination of project staff and sub-contractors to ensure safe, cost effective, efficient and timely completion of projects in order to meet and/or exceed client expectations.

The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring safe project delivery, ensuring that quality, schedule, and cost targets are met and for managing the associated risk. Responsible for delivery of project to agreed specifications, for managing change and customer relationships, and ensuring appropriate reporting and governance is adhered to and controlled.
