Job Overview

This role is responsible for developing and implementing processes and applications to enhance the Engineering Department’s project delivery performance, including tracking budgets, schedules, and communicating project status to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage medium to large technical projects in manufacturing plants
• Investigate, create solutions, source equipment, and manage installations and start-ups
• Apply project management and reporting disciplines throughout project lifecycle
• Contribute to large projects as a team member, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations
• Provide technical leadership and coaching within the Engineering department and organization
• Continuously develop technical, project management, and leadership skills
• Gain experience across various business areas such as Product Development, Continuous Improvement, and Asset Maintenance

Recipe For Success

• University degree in Engineering or related field
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in Engineering, preferably in Food Manufacturing
• Completion of P.Eng
• Highly organized, results-oriented, with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Strong computer and project management skills
