You will plan, develop, and execute capital projects supporting technical developments and engineering activities in supply chain and capital expense project execution to foster growth, manufacturing excellence, and productivity, while ensuring the highest standards of quality, safety, and environmental compliance. You will adhere to Mondelēz’s business and innovation processes in project management and ensure standards are met.

Responsibilities

1. Define and deliver capital and technical agendas during project development phases, working with stakeholders.
2. Develop and manage capital budgets, ensuring compliance with standards and optimizing resources.
3. Support the development and implementation of advanced processes and equipment strategies.
4. Manage multiple capital projects simultaneously, ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
5. Coordinate with cross-functional teams for project planning, equipment selection, testing, and delivery.
6. Mitigate risks, maintain timelines, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
7. Lead and develop engineering resources and teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree, with experience in project management, especially in capital projects.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Technical expertise across engineering disciplines, with electrical and controls experience as an asset.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in project management on small to medium scale CAPEX projects.
• Possession or pursuit of P.Eng license preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing is advantageous.
• Knowledge of local regulations and standards.
• Certifications in project management are a plus.

Additional Details

• Travel may be required infrequently.
• Work schedule is 37.5 hours/week, based in Toronto, Ontario, with some flexibility needed.
• No relocation support available.
