As a Senior Program Manager, you will lead the execution of key initiatives within Lightspeed's Performance Marketing business portfolio, driving strategic progress, operational efficiencies, and measurable growth. You will collaborate closely with teams across GTM and the broader Lightspeed organization to ensure seamless execution of priority programs. You will play a critical role in advancing performance marketing initiatives that strengthen customer acquisition, optimize marketing investments, and drive sustainable business growth. By leveraging structured execution frameworks, you will align cross-functional teams, track progress against OKRs, and drive measurable business impact. Your ability to orchestrate complex initiatives with clarity and precision will be essential in delivering results efficiently and effectively.

Additionally, you will support stakeholders in applying best practices for program execution while building strong relationships with senior leaders to drive alignment on high-priority initiatives. You will work closely with Marketing, Growth, Sales, Finance, and other cross-functional partners to identify opportunities, remove roadblocks, and ensure performance marketing programs are delivering against business objectives. Given Lightspeed’s dynamic environment, adaptability is key—you will proactively respond to shifting business needs, supporting both the GTM team and Lightspeed’s broader strategic goals as market conditions and opportunities evolve.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Independently initiate and lead execution of key cross-functional, Lightspeed-wide programs; to support organization performance and delivery of the Lightspeed strategy.
  • Partner and collaborate with Sponsors, Senior leaders, business leads, and stakeholders, to achieve key business and financial success metrics for programs and initiatives, ensuring business and financial alignment.

  • Team up collaboratively, as required, with Business Leads and commercial modelling /analysts; to execute together for velocity and stability.
  • Solution programs and approach, seeking clarity on ambiguous deliverables, defining scope and execution plans.
  • Effectively utilize program delivery tools and techniques, encompassing initiation, scope definition, governance, metrics tracking, milestone setting, deliverables management, task allocation, resource planning, sponsor expectation management, risk mitigation, interdependency management between teams, change management, and post‑mortem analysis.
  • Proactively assist with identifying areas of improvement for the Lightspeed Program Management craft and practice.
  • Present and communicate complex ideas succinctly with a clear message of status and decisions needed, as well as regular reporting on program execution and metrics.
  • Provide support and input to others within the Go-To-Market (GTM) Programs team and across Lightspeed.

What you need to bring:

  • 7+ years previous experience in leading the execution of impactful, complex, and large programs of work; or similar
  • Background in facilitating, and working across multiple teams building strong stakeholder relationships, collaboratively, for outstanding business and individual outcomes.
  • Experience working within an in‑house program manager role, focused on performance marketing, with a strong understanding of customer acquisition, campaign performance, marketing channels, and the key metrics that drive growth and ROI.
  • Ability to partner with Marketing, Growth, Sales, Finance, and other cross‑functional teams to execute performance marketing initiatives and translate data and insights into measurable business outcomes.
  • Experience working with data, insight and financial outcomes and objectives; clearly articulating outcomes within a commercial environment.
  • Comfort in operating in ambiguity across a large, growing, complex, global organization and seeking cross organizational alignment - ability to act with calm
  • Strong proficiency in the creation and maintenance of program artefacts such as a Program charter, program plan, RAID Logs/project plans and status updates.
  • Adept and proactive at monitoring and tracking program progress, identifying risks, and implementing mitigation strategies.
