Job summary

NPX is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and delivery of next‑generation nuclear programs across North America. You will define scope, milestones, and success metrics, and partner with clients to align priorities and resources.

You will lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets and risks, and establish governance for first‑of‑a‑kind projects. Travel to Bruce County is required (roughly three days per week).

The Role

We're building the team that will deliver the next generation of nuclear power in North America, and we're always looking for exceptional Senior Program Managers to help lead the way.

As a Senior Program Manager at NPX, you'll build the strategy behind how new nuclear programs are structured and lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of those programs from early development through execution. You'll partner with clients, lead your team to deliver on commitments, and contribute to growth across NPX's New Build portfolio. Your ability to bring structure to complex, first-of-a-kind programs will directly influence how new nuclear projects are delivered and help shape the future of nuclear development in Canada.

Travel Requirements: Requires on-site presence in Bruce County approximately three days per week to support effective collaboration and decision-making.

Salary Range: $160-200k(Exact compensation may vary)

• Domain Familiarity: Experience in nuclear, energy, or major capital projects is an asset. Familiarity with CSA N286, project controls frameworks, or equivalent regulated environments is preferred. Experience with new build, Gen III+/Gen IV reactors, SMRs, or management system development is an asset. In addition, experience in additional subject matter areas is an asset including:

  • Reactor Technology Providers - reactor planning and deployment

  • Construction Execution - construction planning, logistics, advanced work packages, field execution

  • Supply Chain - procurement strategy and vendor delivery for first-of-a-kind builds

  • Civil / Earthworks - site development, grading, and foundation works

  • Electrical - power distribution, protection, and control system delivery

  • Governance - program governance frameworks and controls for new nuclear builds
