Job summary

Agilus Work Solutions is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a complex Enterprise Technology Transformation / Mainframe Program in North York, Ontario. The role involves coordinating Canadian and U.S. teams and managing multiple workstreams, vendors, and executive reporting.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in program management, strong governance and risk management skills, and experience with mainframe modernization and hybrid delivery approaches.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive program/project management experience.
• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise technology programs and transformations.
• Mainframe modernization and legacy platform transformation experience preferred.
• Strong governance, integrated planning, and financial management.
• Vendor management with SOWs, milestones and escalations.
• Experience coordinating Canadian and U.S. teams and distributed resources.

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead a complex Enterprise Technology Transformation / Mainframe Program in North York, Ontario.

Travel: As required within Canada & U.S.

Must haves:

• Senior Program Manager calibre with 10+ years of progressive program/project management experience
• Proven experience leading large-scale enterprise technology programs and transformation initiatives
• Mainframe modernization, application transformation, legacy platform or complex technology transformation experience preferred
• Strong program governance, integrated planning, financial management, RAID, risk & dependency management
• Experience managing multiple project teams, workstreams, vendors and interdependent initiatives
• Strong executive stakeholder management, communication, facilitation and influencing skills
• Proven vendor management experience, including SOWs, deliverables, milestones and escalations
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile or Hybrid delivery methodologies
• PMP or equivalent project/program management credential strongly preferred
• Experience coordinating Canadian and U.S. teams and distributed/offshore resources is an asset
• Experience in utilities or other complex/regulatory enterprise environments is an asset

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of a large, multi-project enterprise technology transformation, establishing governance, managing integrated roadmaps, coordinating workstreams, overseeing financials and vendors, proactively managing RAID, and providing concise executive-level reporting.
• The successful candidate will work closely with executive sponsors, business leaders, architecture, cybersecurity, infrastructure, data/integration teams, PMO/EPMO, vendors and project/workstream leads to drive delivery through implementation, cutover and stabilization.
