We are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedSenior Production Supervisorto lead our bakery manufacturing operations in Canada. This role is responsible for supervising daily production activities, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality baked goods, and maintaining compliance with Canadian food safety and labour regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, bakery operations expertise, and a passion for continuous improvement in a fast-paced, food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day production operations to meet efficiency, quality, and safety targets.
• Supervise, train, and coach production staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies.
• Monitor production schedules and coordinate with planning and logistics to ensure timely order fulfillment.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, GMP, and other food safety and quality standards.
• Lead problem-solving and root cause analysis efforts to address production and quality issues.
• Drive lean manufacturing initiatives to improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Maintain accurate shift reports, labour records, and production data using ERP or MES systems.
• Promote a culture of health and safety and ensure adherence to OH&S and WSIB guidelines.
• Act as a liaison between production and other departments such as Maintenance, QC, and HR.
• Support readiness for third-party audits and inspections (e.g., BRC, CFIA).

Qualifications

• 3 + years of progressive experience in a supervisory role in food or bakery manufacturing
• Strong understanding of Canadian food industry regulations and manufacturing best practices.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and manufacturing software systems (e.g., ERP)
• Flexible to work different shifts, weekends and holidays as needed
• Flexible to travel between both sites (Etobicoke & Mississauga)
